Hi, Im Kate,

I help women move beyond the fog of overwhelm to understand where they are, who they are becoming, and how to navigate the messy middles of life’s big transitions.

The Story: Navigating the Space Between

For 30 years, I’ve been a teacher and a student of human growth. I’ve spent thousands of hours in classrooms and community spaces, observing the quiet ways we evolve, and the painful ways we stall.

But I’ve also seen it in my own reflection.

I know what it’s like to have built a life that looks "right" on paper, yet wake up feeling heavy, foggy, and profoundly disconnected. It’s that unsettling moment when you realise you’ve spent so long meeting everyone else's needs that you no longer recognise your own. You’re smart, you’re capable, but you’re lost in the noise of who you should be.

This is the friction of transition. Whether it’s an empty nest, a career shift, or the subtle loss of identity that comes with a new decade, these seasons demand a different version of us. But often, our nervous system is still running on the old blueprints.

The Biological Truth of Change

For a long time, I thought the answer to these "messy middles" was just to push through, try harder, or indulge in more "self-care." But my research into Neuroscience revealed a deeper reality: You cannot think your way out of a system that is overwhelmed. When your mind and body are caught in a feedback loop of stress during a life transition, your sense of self is the first thing to go.

These insights became the foundation of my book, Rest & Rise, and the ongoing conversations I host on my podcast. I wanted to create a space where science meets the soul—where women could finally understand the why behind their overwhelm.

To find your way back, you don't need more "to-do" lists or generic advice; you need to understand your own biology. Transition is a biological process as much as an emotional one. By learning to listen to the signals your system is sending, you can stop reacting to the change and start navigating it—rebuilding your life from a place of grounded truth.

Women don’t need more advice. They need understanding.

They need to know how their nervous system works, why certain stress patterns develop, and how the mind and body actually respond to overwhelm and change. My work is built on the belief that when you understand the why, the how becomes possible.

I don’t believe in "high vibes" or performative wellness. I believe in Biological Truth. My coaching moves beyond survival mode by blending science-informed education with holistic practices, grounded in a "Tweak, Try, and Trust" framework—small, intentional changes that lead to sustainable vitality.

My coaching blends:

  • Neuroscience & Nervous-System Literacy: Decoding the language of your internal state.

  • Somatic Tools: Helping you regulate from the inside out, not just the top down.

  • Values-Based Behaviour Change: Aligning your daily choices with what actually matters to you.

  • Gentle Mindset Work: Challenging old stories without the weight of toxic positivity.

  • Real-World Practicality: Delivered with compassion, humour, and 30 years of educator experience.

How My Philosophy Drives the Elemental Method

I don't give you a checklist or time-management techniques; I give you a framework that allows you to move into a position of powerful understanding and agency.

My Science + Soul + Self approach is woven into the four stages of the Elemental Method:

  • GROUNDED (Identity + Baseline): We start with Neuroscience and Nature. By understanding your biological baseline, we strip away the "shoulds" and find your grounded truth.

  • CLARITY (Mind + Body): We use Nervous System Literacy to decode the feedback loop between your thoughts and your physical state. This is where we move beyond "toxic positivity" into real-world clarity.

  • NEEDS (Goals + Choices): This is Values-Based Behaviour Change. We identify what you require to thrive and build confidence in yourself to prioritise what matters.

  • FLOW (Sustainable Change): Using the "Tweak, Try, and Trust" framework, we apply Somatic Tools and practical strategies to help you navigate life’s transitions with ease and resilience.

What I Believe;

  • I believe women are powerful when they feel supported, resourced, and grounded.

  • I believe change doesn’t need to be dramatic to be meaningful; it just needs to be intentional.

  • I believe rest is a biological necessity, not a reward.

  • I believe clarity comes when we stop overriding our own cues.

  • I believe the body tells the truth long before the mind catches up.

  • And I believe every woman deserves a life that truly feels like her own.

Beyond the Science

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me by the ocean or in the forests of the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales. I’m a mum of two young men and someone who loves travelling, reading, and music — anything that adds creativity, perspective, and a deeper appreciation of being human to everyday life.

I find so much joy in my garden and in caring for the animals that make our home feel full. These parts of my life keep me steady, grounded, and connected — and they shape the way I show up in my work.

People often describe me as warm, grounded, and intuitive—a calm presence who listens beneath the surface and helps others remember their own strength and beauty.
